The image on the right can be formatted in the photo settings to display as a square, portrait, landscape, or circle.

Whatever shape is used on the left, can also be used on the right in a reverse of the same section layout. The shape can be placed under the image as well. You'll need to adjust the margins and/or the row's background image positioning to get it situated where it looks best. This will not "straight out of the box" and may need adjusting.

The background colour can be changed in the row settings. The image can be placed to the left or the right. It is a 2-column layout that can be edited to suit the layout. The wave can be edited in the row settings if you want more or less waves/curves.

Using the same row/section, the orientation of the waves has been flipped and the background colour changed.
The image shape can be adjusted in the photo settings. The image can also be repositioned to overlap the top or bottom of a row by adjusting the top and bottom margins. Margin adjustments need to be made for large, medium, and small screens. If you like a particular layout style, it's best to make all the adjustments in advance and save it as a template for later use.

Using the same row/section, the height has been adjusted, the layout changed to single column, the row width fixed at 1000 pixels. The background colour changed. And waves can also be added to the bottom of the row. The bottom and top waves can be completely different. So there is some flexibility if you want to do something different.
